The sun peeked curiously through the buildings…

as we entered the empty parking lot for a morning of exploration and storytelling. Eager to try out new techniques, Amanda Santoro, a local fashion/food blogger in Washington D.C. and I darted around corners, laid on the ground, and perched atop grungy stairs to tell her story. Geared up with a 35mm and my new 85mm, we embarked on a hunt for cool compositions and I ask her to swing her hips way too many times. Our morning ended with a cup of coffee at Peregrine and smiles ear to ear.
