brand development
From ideation of naming to brand identity development, social media support, and print design, I work with teams to find out what they need and find a solution. Below, you will find a few recent projects I worked on from brand identity to web design.
CANDOR COLLABORATIVE Brand Identity
The Candor brand identity was developed in partnership with Daniel Stewart of Vryheid Collective. Founded by Sarah Schepker, Candor (Collaborative)—renamed to Candor to allow for more flexibility moving forward—is a D.C.-based furniture and home goods company with a cause. Built on a foundation of collaboration, and most important candor, the company creates pieces that start conversations or facilitate them.

LOGOS + STAMPS
Social Media Mockup
Inspired by the earthen materials used to create Candor furniture, the design integrates texture, impression, and tactility into the interaction. From the business cards to the tags, each has an embossed texture inviting you to feel the gentle curves of the logo.
With each new collection, the main color responds to the selected color way. The color can also be used throughout the website to indicate in which season the piece was released. New base colors.
Joel Buckner Coaching Brand Identity
With the founding of his recent coaching practice, Joel partnered with me to develop a brand identity that showcased his grounded nature with his encouraging spirit. We utilized humanistic fonts with neutral earth tones that expanded his existing green, grey, and tan color palette. The logo represents a combination of an ear for his role as a listener and a fingerprint that speaks to the identity aspect of his coaching practice.
Through the use of earth tones and greys, we created an inviting yet grounded color palette. The Logotype utilized Bangla MN, a crisp and interesting font that is elevated and legible at many scales. The logo mark combines the fingerprint representing “identity” and the sound waves as Joel is also a performing artist.
Spring Supply Co.
The Spring Supply Co. brand identity was designed to welcome people to spend time caring for their hair and body. The warm colors, elegant typographical style, and editorial imagery style work together to create a clean, elegant, warm, and inviting brand image.

Mission Reconcile
A faith-based racial reconciliation non-profit seeking to work with church organizations throughout the nation to heal the division through facilitated events.
BRAND IDENTITY
When approached by the founder of Mission Reconcile, I was asked to help her define the brand and build a website. We worked together to deconstruct and reconstruct the idea from its foundation and develop a comprehensive brand identity for the team to use on all platforms.
Website
Development of the website was in partnership with the other two founders of Mission Reconcile. The initial design was set and we have subsequently updated as needed.
Brand Management
From the moment we launched the website and social media platforms, there have been opportunities to guide the brand through copy writing, social media management, graphic design, and curation/editing for the Dear Church, blog.
Working with a speech pathologist, I developed a series of logotypes and a base branding identity package.
